Most Memorable Hunting Adventure: I have two: the first would be the 2002 season while I was pregnant with my son Blaine.  Although my family thought I was absolutely crazy, I found it to be an experience of a lifetime that would never be forgotten.  That season was my most successful bow hunting season to date and Blaine can now brag that he has three bow harvests before he was born! LOL.
My second most memorable adventure would be last season in Ozona, TX.  Jeremy and I scouted for several days and encountered a lot of nice bucks. One afternoon we decided to make a move on a huge buck that we saw on the horizon about a mile away, or so we thought.  We stalked that buck for hours.  We would make it to the top of one ridge and the buck would be on the next.  The longer we stalked the more determined I was.  Finally, close to dusk, we got within range on the buck.  We were out in the open and got busted.  He saw us but wasn’t sure what we were.  To our surprise the buck started closing the distance for us.  He got to within 175 yards and in all my excitement I rushed the shot.  This was the first time in my hunting career to miss an animal with a rifle and not to mention the biggest buck I’ve ever encountered.  I continued to play the event back in my mind and I know what went wrong, BUCK FEVER got the best of me. The worst part was back at camp having to share my story with all the guys. This girl was not cut any slack as we reviewed the footage again and again.  Still today this buck haunts me.
History/Family: Jeremy and I both were born and raised in Baytown, TX.  We met fourteen years ago and the rest is history.  Jeremy and I have spent as much time together in the woods as possible over the last fourteen years.  Now we are blessed to have a son Blaine age 6 and a daughter Brooke age 4 who we like to say keep us young.  The Outdoors is such an important part of our everyday life.  Jeremy grew up in a hunting and fishing family.  He was raised with the values of the outdoors from an early age.  I was fortunate to have been introduced to hunting by Jeremy.  Now, it is so awesome for us to be able to teach and share these values and traditions with our children.  We are proud to say that Blaine and Brooke have been shooting home- made long bows made by Jeremy since they were 18 months old.  As a family, our time is spent shooting bows, hunting, fishing , camping and preparing for the upcoming seasons.  It is our passion for the outdoors that we want to share with others and hopefully inspire them to create traditions of their own. 
Favorite Game to Hunt: There’s just something to be said about hunting big whitetails!!!
