Team A-RAK-A-TAK takes 2ND PLACE IN THE 2010 CAMPBELL OUTDOOR CHALLENGE PRO CIRCUIT
 

 
Jeremy and I had such blast this year with the Campbell Outdoor Challenge.  We would like to thank all of the outfitters who helped make it possible.  Also thanks to everyone at Campbells.  The facility and hunting at Campbell Illinois Whitetails is awesome.  The friends made along the way and the comradery we have with all the teams will be greatly missed.  Good luck to everyone and look forward to seeing you again next year.

Team A-Rak-A-Tak takes 3rd in the Whitetail Championship
 
Jeremy and I had and incredible yet stressful week in Carmi, Illinois.  Our patience and determination were tested to the max.  In the end it all came together for us.
 
Jeremy and I drew the same location we hunted the year before.  So, we definitely had an advantage knowing the travel patterns of the deer.  We set up in the same tree and had countless encounters with does and small bucks all in bow range. We had a beautiful 155-160” buck come within 30 yards on the 4th day.  Jeremy had a perfect angle with the camera rolling however I did not have a shot.  He continued to walk the trail behind trees and branches.  I needed him to take 1 step further in my shooting lane.  As he picked his head up he winded us and turned and walked away.  This is a feeling that sooner or later all cameramen and hunters will experience.
 
On the last morning I shot my doe at 25 yards.  The performance of my Alaskan Grizzly stick and Maasai broadhead was awesome.  This doe harvest was crucial for us.  It put us in 3rd place in the whitetail championship and moved us from 4th place into 2nd place in the 2010 Pro Circuit overall standings.
